All righty then - the pressure is on! I'm linking up with Linda at Calling it Home for the One Room Challenge. Click here to learn more about the ORC! It's gonna be a fun and crazy six weeks because that's exactly how long I'll have to redo a clients eating area and kitchen (the kitchen is already underway I'm just including it for fun and to elevate the level of suspense!)
Here are the before pictures of the kitchen...
The kitchen is getting a total face lift with new cabinetry, counter tops, back splash and fixtures. The peninsula is getting demolished and a shiny new island will be taking it's place. The eating area is going to be relocated to the family's current living room to allow for big spacious family dinners and fabulous get- togethers!
Here is the current family room which will be turned into a larger eating area for everyone to enjoy:)
That's my guy who refused to get out of the pic. little ham.
The plan for this room you ask? Well, I'm gonna paint it a rich navy, reuse the dining table and chairs and recover wing chairs for comfy seating for the host and hostess. We also need to add window treatments and accessories.
As always we like to reuse what we have and keep to a very tight but reasonable budget!!
Wish me luck and keep tuning in once a week as we progress.
and please
Check back every Thursday to get my updates!
Thanks for reading!! xoxo
